Distilled Water

Distilled water is water that has many of its impurities removed through distillation. Distillation involves boiling the water and then condensing the steam into a clean container.

HFC-134a

1,1,1,2-Tetrafluoroethane, R-134a, Genetron 134a, Suva 134a or HFC-134a, is a haloalkane refrigerant with thermodynamic properties similar to R-12 (dichlorodifluoromethane), but with less ozone depletion potential. It has the formula CH2FCF3, and a boiling point of −26.3 °C (−15.34 °F) at atmospheric pressure.

Ammonium Hydroxide

Ammonium hydroxide, also known as ammonia water, ammonical liquor, ammonia liquor, aqua ammonia, aqueous ammonia, or simply ammonia, is a solution of ammonia in water. It can be denoted by the symbols NH3(aq). Although its name suggests a base with composition [NH4+][OH−], it is not actually possible to isolate samples of NH4OH — it exists only in dilute aqueous solutions, and even then only comprises a tiny fraction of the total ammonia.

Hycar 1578x1

"Hycar" nitrile latex emulsion 1578xl is an ABS emulsion polymer containing about 50 percent water and about 48-50 percent of a nitrile polymer which is commercially available from B.F.

Goodrich Company of Cleveland, Ohio. The latex emulsion also contains roughly two percent of an anionic surfactant soap.

Dimethyl ether (DME)

Dimethyl ether (DME) is the organic compound with the formula CH3OCH3. The simplest ether, it is a colourless gas that is a useful precursor to other organic compounds and an aerosol propellant. When combusted, dimethyl ether produces minimal NOx and CO, though HC and soot formation are significant. DME can act as a clean fuel when burned in engines properly optimized for DME.

RHODIASOLV STRIP

Rhodiasolv® STRIP is a new eco-friendly, safe and high performing core ingredient especially developed for dichloromethane-free paint stripping solutions.

Based on the eco-friendly solvent Rhodiasolv® IRIS, recipient of the 2009 Pierre Potier award for innovation in chemistry supporting sustainable development,Rhodiasolv® STRIP enables customers to develop high performance products compliant with strictest regulations for paint stripping.

Features and benefits

Rhodiasolv® STRIP is biodegradable and requires no labeling because it is non-toxic, non-flammable, non-irritant and non-sensitizing. This unique and proprietary blend is also classified as non-VOC according to EU legislation (1999/13/EC). Rhodiasolv® STRIP is an ingredient of choice for dichloromethane or N-Methyl-Pyrrolidone free formulation

A high performance ingredient
  • Outperforms conventional diester based benchmarks in both speed and penetration.
  • Low product reapplication due to lower evaporation rate of Rhodiasolv® STRIP compared with traditional dichloromethane based products.
Formulation flexibility

Rhodiasolv provide great flexibility for manufacturers to design high-performance paint stripping formulations aimed at domestic (Do-It-Yourself), professional and industrial markets.

Rhodiasolv is a a product of Rhodia. Rodia is in:
